Where are the 1-2-1 courses run from?
We run courses from The Radlett Centre, Radlett, Herts. and from the premises of Earth Ltd who are based right in the heart of buzzy Covent Garden, London, which is the perfect location if you wish to try your hand at Street Photography!
How many people are on each course?
We mainly run one to one personal tuition, but if you prefer we can arrange you to bring along up to 3 friends or family at additional cost.
What equipment should I bring?
For street photography courses a good compact digital camera is ok but you will gain more if you have a Digital SLR or 'Bridge' camera. For our beginners photography courses, a digital SLR or 'bridge' camera is required to get the most out of the course. With any course make sure your battery is fully charged and you have an empty memory card. If you are attending our Lightroom course than a laptop ideally pre-installed with Lightroom is required.
Leica or Fuji user?
Unlike many other tutors, our tutor Gary has specialist knowledge of both Leica (film & digital) and Fuji X cameras.
Are there any written course notes?
Most of our courses have full course notes which are emailed to you after your course.
How skilled do I need to be?
For the introductory Beginners DSLR course or the introductory Street Photography course, as long as you can point and shoot a camera then you will get a lot from either course and have great fun. For the advanced courses you should have a basic knowledge of aperture, shutter speed etc or have completed our introductory course.
What dates are available?
